The Shadows of Our Thoughts & Shadow Therapy to help overcome our Dark side

Have you ever had a negative thought randomly or at times constantly appear in your day to day life and you have asked yourself "Why Am I Thinking This Thought?" Shadow Therapy is working with your unconscious mind to uncover the parts of yourself that you repress and hide from yourself, such as trauma and resentment. Shadow work involves exploring and integrating the unconscious aspects of oneself, such as repressed emotions, fears, and desires, to achieve personal growth and wholeness. Our shadow self longs to be heard, however it's not always easy to come to terms with our shadow selves. Many people tend to repress those hidden parts of themselves to avoid having to confront the darker side. Even thought the shadow still exists, it gets pushed back and forgotten. But repressing your inner shadow can have dangerous consequences. Most often, the shadow manifests as our triggers - emotional reactions that we haven't fully dealt with, but bubbles up to the surface under the right or wrong circumstances. It takes training, self awareness, guidance, and courage to help you face your shadow self in a healthy way.
