Zen Holistic Counselling provides services that support Women's emotional, physical and spiritual health and well-being, and helps Women to recognise the natural innate ability to heal and empower ourselves that exists when we embark on a journey deep within, and when we embrace the healing that comes from releasing trauma and changing the way we see our situations.  

Holistic Counselling is about aligning the Mind, Body and Spirit to work peacefully as one, understanding that these three components of ourselves are designed to be in harmony with one another and the harmonious balance in turn allows us to build foundations of happiness and resilience in our day to day life.

I am able to help support you in identifying the root causes and triggers of anxiety and depression that you may be experiencing in your life and help give you insights and tools to move forward to live with more joy and ease.  The homework I give continues the sessions between sessions, so you are still working away at your personal development and there is a continuity to every session which brings enlightenment and more self awareness to each session attended.

ABOUT ME

MARIA ZANTIOTIS - DIP.MED.HOL.COUNS.

I graduated from the Australian School of Holistic Counselling in 2021.  The Australian School of Holistic Counselling has been recognised as the Best Holistic Counselling Training Provider two years consecutively. I also gained honorary recognition in my studies and received Distinctions for all of my work.  I am also a fully certified Women's Circle Facilitator, bringing Women together in Circle to rejoice in building connections and exploring our Souls.

I have had many years of personal life experience and the fields I am interested in include eating disorders, trauma, depression, pain management, PTSD, marital and domestic issues, emotional and physical abuse and I also offer  meditation teaching. 

 

I am a Mother of three children and I understand the day to day challenges of being a Mum.  My aim is to help Women holistically to find their inner wisdom and peace and to help Women holistically explore their true potential through aligning the mind, body and spirit and connecting to their true selves.  

I also offer Empowerment and Enlightenment Coaching if you would like to enhance your own day to day wellness program. This enables each client to learn and gain the holistic techniques and tools that you can implement at home on your own to help yourself ease stress and increase your positivity.  I can take you through and show you a different perspective of looking at the situations in your life and how to create a happier, peaceful and more harmonious mindset.

Whether you are a woman navigating through life, experiencing loss, trauma, or a Mother who has raised her children to adulthood and is now trying to find her purpose again, the effects of such situations can lead to overwhelm on the body and nervous system in which I can help you through.

en that our thoughts and emotions are responsible for most illnesses and stress is a major contributor to disease, so when we work on freeing our minds of negative and debilitating thought patterns, our bodies respond also.

  When we encompass the mind, body and spirit connections of the human dynamic to help ease stress and live more aligned with our values and goals we are able to live more harmoniously with ourselves and those around us.

MY FOCUS

TO NURTURE & BE OF SERVICE TO WOMEN WHO WANT TO
HEAL, LEARN MEDITATION OR LIVE A MORE HOLISTIC LIFE 

My Focus is to support Women by helping Women to live more holistically by engaging and nurturing the mind, body and spirit connection. I believe we all have the capacity to heal and it is something that I am passionate about having practiced this in my own life, I know it works.  

Holistic Therapies are scientifically proven and designed to help us to live in our natural, harmonious and joyous state and homeostasis.  The stress of every day living can override this balance of harmony and I am a wonderful believer that when we change the way we think and change the beliefs we have about ourselves we are able to live more peacefully.

Other areas I am focused on are helping Women to develop better self esteem, goal setting, empowerment coaching, teaching meditation techniques, teaching Women to identify with their needs, setting affirmations, mantras, chakra cleansing, breathwork and guiding you to find happiness. 
What we experience in our lives gets stored within our bodies, the mind and body connection, so if you have experienced trauma it will remain in our nervous systems until we work through the underlying issues.  


Body relaxation meditations allows the body to scan where there is tension and holistic counselling allows the client to understand what is triggering the tension which helps to relieve these symptoms.  Chronic Pain sufferers can sometimes get into a post traumatic stress response where anything that comes in contact with the body that has similarities to past trauma can reignite those symptoms and feelings in the body. Meditation allows us to be fully present within our bodies and get in touch with our innate ability to heal. 

Your healing Journey is my focus.  Learning key holistic tools can set you up for life to live with more peace, ease, and knowing how to create your own inner sanctuary when stress presents itself, you can instantly empower 
yourself through the tools that you are shown and taught.  By understanding how this alignment of mind, body and spirit works it also gives you a deeper insight into how it all interconnects creating more awareness and inner wisdom to be your own best support system.  Women play many diverse roles and have such little time to look after themselves. Ask yourself how do you unwind? I can teach you techniques which will help you to relax. 

I believe being the best version of yourself is also a gift that you also give to others and when we do that we are able to be more present in our every day roles.  When we fill our own cups and look after our own health, our Family, Friends and Colleagues benefit too.
